We believe ordering for your home should feel simple and considered — just like the pieces themselves. Below is everything you need to know about shipping, returns, and how we're here to help if something isn't right.


Shipping

Where we ship

At this time, Prithley ships within the United States only. We do not offer international shipping yet.

Processing & delivery times

At Prithley, we believe in mindful consumption and thoughtful curation. Each earth-honoring piece in our collection is carefully selected. We partner with specialized fulfillment providers to deliver your chosen items.

  • Processing Time: Please allow 1-3 business days (Monday–Friday) for your order to be prepared for dispatch.
  • Shipping Time: Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 15–20 days.
  • Estimated Total Arrival: Please allow 18–25 days from order to doorstep for your Prithley pieces to arrive.

You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order is on its way, so you can follow along.

Please note: Delivery times are estimates. Occasionally, carrier delays may extend this window. If your order hasn't arrived within 30 days, email us at hello@prithley.com — we'll look into it right away.

About packaging

Your pieces will arrive in simple, protective packaging — a plain box or secure poly mailer with cushioning materials inside. We've chosen not to invest in custom branded packaging at this stage, preferring instead to let the products themselves do the speaking. It's one small way we keep our costs honest and our focus where it belongs: on the pieces you'll actually use.

Each item is individually wrapped to prevent damage during international transit.


Returns & Replacements

We stand behind every piece we offer. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, we'll make it right.

Eligible issues

We can offer a replacement or refund if your order arrives with:

  • A damaged or broken item
  • An incorrect item (wrong product, size, or color)
  • A missing item

To help us resolve this quickly, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with clear photos showing the issue. We cannot process claims for orders placed more than 90 days ago. In most cases, you won't need to return the item — you can keep it while we send a replacement or process your refund.

If tracking shows "delivered" but you haven't received your order

We know how frustrating this can be. Sometimes packages are marked delivered but left in an unexpected spot, with a neighbor, or at a building office.

If you've checked these places and still can't locate your order, please reach out to us. We'll do our best to help, though in some cases we may need you to file a report with your local postal service (USPS) confirming non-delivery. We'll walk you through the process if it comes to that — you won't be on your own.

Order cancellations

Orders can be canceled before they're processed or shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible — but if there's an issue when it arrives, we'll work with you.

What we can't accept returns for

We don't offer returns for change of mind — and here's why: Prithley is built on the idea of curating with intention. Every piece in our collection has been chosen carefully, and we ask the same of you when you order. These aren't impulse buys. They're meant to be considered, chosen deliberately, and kept for years.

If you're unsure whether a piece is right for you, take your time before ordering. We'd rather you be certain than regretful.

We also can't accept returns for:

  • Normal wear, patina, or natural darkening of materials over time (this is how natural materials age — beautifully)
  • Subtle variations in color, grain, texture, or weave (each piece is unique; no two are identical)
  • Minor packaging damage where the product itself is intact and functional

Our pieces are made from bamboo, wood, seagrass, and rattan. They develop character. They change. That's the point.

Refund processing time

Once we've approved your refund, please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to return to your original payment method. The exact timing depends on your bank or payment provider — we process it as quickly as we can on our end.
