Most fruit bowls have solid bottoms. Moisture collects underneath. The fruit sits in condensation, gets soft spots, spoils faster than it should.

This one has a woven mesh design. Air circulates from all directions — top, bottom, sides. Fruit stays dry between handling. It lasts days longer because it's not sitting in runoff.

The round trumpet shape comes from traditional Chinese drying baskets used for centuries to preserve food. Bamboo hardens as it dries, which makes it more durable over time rather than less.

Use it for fruit on your counter. Or for drying herbs, draining bread, storing root vegetables. The mesh is tight enough to support weight, open enough to let air through.
